VistaXT Final Coming Soon

Progress on the final version of VistaXT is going well and should be released in the next couple of days or so.

The last version I think looked unpolished and bad compared to previous versions :( so I have pretty much completely re-done a lot of parts of the theme; the task bar, start menu, windows borders, nav buttons, login screen, basic theme and other things have had an overhaul. I am now focusing on making the theme clean looking using various shades of blue and blacks, also I am concentrating on fixing up minor details such as the windows borders not being smooth and round (fixed already!)

The new version will also feature a new iconset (optional) that uses icons from my at the moment unreleased and unfinished Blu Iconset which goes together with the theme nicely.

So keep a look out :D

I installed your Vista XT theme; its awesome but I have some problems seeing the whole of All Programs button (it is shown half in my menu) plus there is a frame on the right side which comes right upon the Games menu. Can you help me out in this? Any suggessions?

Hey, sorry for the bother, but I was wondering if you can help me out installing the theme (VistaXT Version 2.0, Release 2). I'm new at this and I've tried countless times to no success. Please get back at me.

Hey, i liked the theme..
so i downloaded it...
the instructions were clear..
i did everything...replaced all the files u gave me...and everything....
but nothing really changed.. i mean i still have the same icons
i only have one taskbar...
it just changed the boot screen..like when i restart my comp...the screen is just changed...
i didnt even get a new start button...

What am i supposed to do?
please help!!!

You don't get two taskbars thats just a preview. Did you apply the theme by right clicking on the desktop going to personalise then appearance then open up the classic appearance options and choose the skin from there?

yeah i did that...
but its just only a windows classic theme...
i wanted it to look like your screenshot of the theme..

I love your icons.

I am constantly working on my computers look, and I have a black skin on Firefox, XP and most of my icons match.

Your icons made it easier for my computer "Navi" to look her best and I am very thankful!
